Our Small Batch Pracaxi Oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the Pentaclethra macroloba tree, native to the Amazon rainforest. Naturally rich in behenic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid, and vitamin E, Pracaxi Oil is prized for its lightweight feel while providing excellent conditioning properties for both skin and hair. It absorbs well without leaving an excessively greasy residue, making it a popular ingredient in premium facial oils, hair serums, conditioners, body oils, and nourishing skincare formulations. Its exceptional slip also makes it an excellent addition to massage oils and beard care products. This Pracaxi is different than the other one that we carry and remains in a liquid state even with refrigeration. It will crystallize at freezing temps.
