Our Organic Virgin Red Palm Oil is expeller-pressed from the fruit of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis), preserving its naturally vibrant reddish-orange color and abundance of beneficial carotenoids and tocotrienols. Unlike palm kernel oil, which is extracted from the seed, red palm oil is obtained from the fruit itself, giving it a unique nutrient profile prized by cosmetic formulators.

Formulation Guidelines:
Virgin Red Palm Oil blends well with lighter carrier oils and butters. Because it is naturally semi-solid, gentle warming may be required before use.
Suggested Use Levels
- Body Butters: 10–40%
- Balms & Salves: 20–80%
- Creams & Lotions: 5–20%
- Hair Care: 2–15%
- Soap Making: Up to 30% of total oils
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. This oil may naturally become semi-solid or fully solid at cooler temperatures. If needed, gently warm until liquefied. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
