NAD+ is a coenzyme that provides anti-aging and skin health benefits similar to niacinamide. a form of vitamin B-3.  Adequate NAD+ levels are critical for proper DNA repair upon UV exposure. NAD+ deficiency increases skin sensitivity to photodamage, whereas NAM prevents UV-induced depletion of cellular energy by replenishing the NAD+ pool.

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is crucial to life. It works as an electron/hydrogen carrier that facilitates the transfer of energy between nutrients and the cell’s energy currency, ATP. In these oxidation-reduction reactions, the active part of the coenzyme (the one that gets reduced and oxidized again and again) is nicotinamide.  NAD+ is non-organic.

Suggested Use & Storage

INCI Nomenclature: Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide
Appearance: White Crystalline Powder
Solubility: Water Soluble 50mg/ml
Suggested Use Levels: 0.5-1%
Formulation notes: Vortex mixing is recommended to fully dissolve.  Use of a sonicator may also be necessary. NAD+ degrades rapidly with heat (38C and up) and alkaline pH. We recommend storing your finished formulations in the refrigerator for maximum potency.
Storage: Protect from light and store in a cool, dry location. Store with moisture absorbents.
Shelf life: 24 months
Fermentation: Enzymatic Reaction
This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.

This NAD+ powder (Which is not accurately depicted in the product image listed with bulk naturals, which depicts a more powdery product far less crystalline than product actually is) is offered at one of the most competitive price points on the market, making it an excellent option for formulators and researchers working on a budget. While the affordability is an advantage, it’s important to note that this product contains a significantly higher moisture content than many premium alternatives. As a result, it may not dissolve efficiently in high-concentration, water-based cosmetic formulations unless additional solubilizers or more aggressive solvents are introduced.

That said, the lower cost makes it ideal for prototyping or experimental use, where minor material losses are more acceptable. It serves well as a learning or development-grade NAD+, allowing formulators to refine techniques without the financial pressure that often comes with high-purity, low-moisture NAD+ powders.

For those unfamiliar with the documentation abbreviations listed in the end of the product description section, abbreviations under the label "Documents" are:

SDS (Safety Data Sheet): Contains essential information about safe handling, storage, and potential hazards. This particular SDS also confirms that the product is rated for cosmetic use, whereas nowhere else (such as the description) does it mention its cosmetic grade quality.

CoA (Certificate of Analysis): Verifies the product’s identity and purity through lab testing, typically including assay percentages, appearance, and contaminant screening.

In summary, while not ideal for final or high-end formulations requiring optimal solubility and stability, this NAD+ is a great value for early-stage R&D, bulk processing experiments, or cost-sensitive applications.

Thank you for your added context and insight. We apprectiate it very much.
