Coenzyme Q-10 (CoQ-10) is a vitamin-like substance and powerful antioxidant found throughout the body, but especially in the heart, liver, kidney, and pancreas. It is capable of increasing energy levels as it is involved in the production of ATP, a molecule in body cells that functions like a rechargeable battery in the transfer of energy. Coenzyme Q-10 is also capable of reducing Reactive oxygen species (ROS) which provides the benefit of protecting and revitalizing skin. Co-Q10 Liposome was designed to enhance the delivery of Co-Enzyme Q10 in the skin for enhanced benefits. Liposomes are an encapsulation technology that serves several functions. They act as a barrier to protect the active ingredients from degrading from oxidation and provide enhanced absorption by attaching to skin cells to deliver the active ingredients where they are needed most. The size of the liposomes is well below the size that can penetrate skin allowing the active ingredients to be delivered deep into the skin tissue.
