NAD+ is a coenzyme that provides anti-aging and skin health benefits similar to niacinamide. a form of vitamin B-3. Adequate NAD+ levels are critical for proper DNA repair upon UV exposure. NAD+ deficiency increases skin sensitivity to photodamage, whereas NAM prevents UV-induced depletion of cellular energy by replenishing the NAD+ pool.
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) is crucial to life. It works as an electron/hydrogen carrier that facilitates the transfer of energy between nutrients and the cell’s energy currency, ATP. In these oxidation-reduction reactions, the active part of the coenzyme (the one that gets reduced and oxidized again and again) is nicotinamide.

Suggested Use Levels: 0.5-1%
Formulation notes: vortex mixing is recommended to fully dissolve. NAD+ degrades rapidly with heat (38C and up) and alkaline pH. We recommend storing your finished formulations in the refrigerator for maximum potency.
