Geogard® ECT
Geogard® ECT is a broad-spectrum preservative system designed for modern natural and high-performance cosmetic formulations. Widely used by formulators seeking ECOCERT and COSMOS compliant preservation, this multifunctional blend helps protect water-based products against bacteria, yeast, and mold while maintaining excellent formulation flexibility.
This easy-to-use liquid preservative is ideal for creams, lotions, gels, serums, masks, cleansers, and hair care products. Geogard® ECT is especially popular in sensitive skin and naturally inspired formulations due to its globally accepted preservative profile and compatibility with a wide range of cosmetic ingredients.

Solubility: Best suited for emulsions and water-based systems. May require additional solubilization support in very low-solids toner or mist formulations.
Recommended Usage Rate: 0.5–1.0%
Effective pH Range: 3.0–8.0
Shelf Life: 12–24 Months Properly Stored
Storage: Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry location away from direct light, heat, and humidity.
