Niacinamide or Nicotinamide (pyridine-3-carboxamide) is a form of Vitamin B3 that helps maintain healthy-looking skin; however, it is not produced naturally by your body. Formulation Notes: Add to the water phase of the formula or directly into a finished cream or cream base. Avoid adding to an acidic product. It should not be combined with l-ascorbic acid. It can hydrolyze and form nicotinic acid at a higher or lower pH, which can result in skin irritation. For external use only.
