Soline® Sunflower Seed Oil Unsaponifiables

Sunflowers are appreciated for their oil. Naturally rich in vitamin E, this oil is extremely beneficial for the skin and is found in numerous cosmetic products.

Good moisturization is essential to preserve the appearance, suppleness, smoothness, and tonicity of the skin. The level of moisturization may be abnormally low if the skin’s ability to retain water (barrier function) is impaired. This is the case with dry or mature skin, as the epidermis thins with age. Soline®, a 100% natural, conventional Sunflower Oil, is a concentrate of precious molecules, the unsaponifiable elements of sunflower oil, extracted by molecular distillation. Soline® selectively stimulates the synthesis of key lipids (ex vivo test). These lipids are, therefore, directly present in situ and wholly available to perform their role and contribute effectively to reinforcing the barrier function of the epidermis. 

This patented active ingredient from the molecular distillation process is sustainably sourced from Europe and stimulates the synthesis of key lipids in the cutaneous barrier by activating PPARα whilst reducing the number of inflammatory mediators. PPARα Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-α (PPARα) is a nuclear hormone receptor which regulates the oxidation and transport of fatty acids.

Shelf life: 36 months, properly stored in a sealed container.
This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.
