Bilberry Liquid Botanical Extract • Antioxidant

Bilberry Liquid Botanical Extract is highly concentrated with Anthocyanin (7.3%), a naturally-occurring phytonutrient known for its potent antioxidant properties. These compounds help reduce the appearance of oxidative skin damage, strengthen skin elasticity, and promote visible skin rejuvenation. The extract is popularly used in haircare, face creams, and lotions to achieve a youthful appearance.

It is a liquid blend of Bilberry Extract and Propanediol, produced through a unique manufacturing technology. Propanediol is a biodegradable and petrochemical-free solvent that is NPA approved, making it an excellent corn sugar-derived alternative to petroleum-based Glycols for hair- and skincare formulations. It offers benefits and functionalities that include improved emollience, enhanced viscosity, non-irritating properties, exceptional sensory characteristics, clarity, and anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, among many more.

This natural botanical extract imparts a rich, dark maroon to dark purple hue to organic and natural skin care products, enabling cosmetic formulations to be achieved without the need for artificial additives. To ascertain the necessary dosage for achieving the desired shade, it is strongly recommended that small batch trials be conducted. However, there may be a shift in color depending on the specific formulation.
