French Clay - Yellow

French Yellow Clay - This is a finely milled mineral-rich clay that contains small amounts of Iron Oxide, which gives the clay its yellow color. It is free from aluminum and helps re-mineralize the skin. It draws out impurities via the skin, detoxifying and helping to clear blocked pores, Essential minerals within the clay are released helping to heal and repair the skin. It helps stimulate blood circulation to the skin while toning and exfoliating gently. It has a very smooth texture and is considered to be a mild clay making it suitable for all skin types including sensitive and dry skin.

Appearance: Fine pale yellow-colored powder.
Application: French Yellow Clay can be used in body wraps, soap making, face masks, mineral-based or cream-based cleansers, face or body scrubs, cosmetics, and facial powders.
Direction for Use: 5-100% in skin-care products, 1 T. / 15ml per lb. / 500g of soap.
Basic Face Mask Recipe: Combine 1 oz of clay with 3 tbsp of water; add 1 tsp of jojoba oil and 2 drops each of orange and tangerine essential oils to form a paste. Apply to the skin leave for about 10 minutes and wash off with warm water. Floral water or aloe vera gel juice can be substituted for water.
Caution: Caution should be exercised as clays may stain fabric.
