Green Tea 50% Polyphenols Powder Standardized to contain 50% Polyphenols 35% Catechins 15% EGCG Green tea extract is an antioxidant powerhouse that delays signs of aging such as sagging skin, sun damage, age spots, lines, and wrinkles. Common uses of this ingredient are to treat psoriasis, and dandruff, reduce inflammation, balance skin oil production, protect against sun damage, reduce acne and blackheads, reduce puffy eyes and dark circles, as a natural skin toner, and to stimulates hair growth. Evidence shows that the antioxidants in green tea may slow down skin aging. The catechin EGCG is especially beneficial, as research has found that it can reactivate dying skin cells. Though these benefits can only affect your outermost layer of skin, it still makes a profound difference in the formation of wrinkles and age spots caused by free radical damage. These same qualities are what can stimulate hair growth.

Formulation Notes: Most extracts should be added to the cool-down phase of the formulation.
• Thick Products such as shampoos, creams, and lotions need to be diluted: Mix 1-2 tsp of hot water (105˚F – 120˚F) or as needed until the powdered extract completely dissolves. Combine this mixture thoroughly into the product.
• Add directly to products that contain a high percentage of water, such as mists & toners.

This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.
