Vitamin E Tocotrienols - 25% All Natural

In nature, there are eight substances (isomers) that are included in the vitamin E family: alpha-, beta-, gamma-, and delta-tocopherols; and alpha-, beta-, gamma- and delta-tocotrienols. The four different isomers from both the tocopherol and tocotrienol groups all have different biological activities and potential benefits. Current studies of the functions of vitamin E indicate that each member of the vitamin E family possesses unique biological functions. Tocotrienols have higher antioxidant activity than an equal concentration of Tocopherols. Tocotrienols – 25% are widely used as a preservative throughout the food industry and also used in various skin creams for possible aging and discoloration benefits. The IU activity for Tocotrienols – 25% is estimated at 150.33 IU per gram.
