Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 is a haircare ingredient that fights follicle aging and follicle atrophy caused by dihydrotestosterone. By stimulating scalp micro-circulation and the production of anchoring molecules, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 positively effects the hair follicle which strengthens hair, inhibits hair loss and promotes growth. Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 has three peptides providing different benefits for hair and skin. The third peptide stimulates melanin production and transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes, to restore color to the hair. For this reason, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 is mainly used in hair care products; shampoos, conditioners, hair lotions. Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 is beneficial for eyelash and eyebrow hair growth as well.

Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 is also used as a skincare ingredient to reconstruct and repair skin by activating tissue repair gene expression and promoting cell proliferation and differentiation.
