Our bodies naturally produce catalase Enzymes, and as we age, the production of this enzyme declines. Our cells produce small amounts of hydrogen peroxide as a defense mechanism against environmental toxins. Catalase works to neutralize H2O2 once it's done its job in our bodies. As we age, the reduction of Catalase causes excess H2O2 to affect things like hair color, thickness, and hair loss. Adding Catalase into products for hair care has been shown to reduce age-related scalp conditions by neutralizing excess H2O2. In addition, it has been found that the reduction of reactive oxygen species(H2O2) can encourage thicker & stronger hair. 

For skin, studies have shown that skin lacking pigmentation can have low levels of Catalase and that treating with Catalase can restore the natural pigment. This can be beneficial in spot-treating skin conditions that result in lighter spots. We also carry a full line of ingredients for lightening dark spots.

While this may not completely reverse grey hair it can help to slow its development and reduce the number of grey hairs.
